Our "Daily Bread" Should Be More Than Just Daily Bread - So, What Should We Be Eating?

We all know that we need more than just bread to maintain a healthy body. Indeed, having just bread will not give us many of the required nutrients and vitamins that we require to have truly healthy bodies. What has changed since the times when the major food item was only bread, or at least grain-based foods? The human body has surely not changed to any great degree over the period of a few hundred or even a few thousand years. So why is it now that we need to take in so many different foods and even add to them nutritional supplements? Not all good looking and good tasting food is good nutritionally.
