Vitamin D: The Difference Between Vitamin D2 and D3
Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin which is necessary for strong bones and teeth. In addition, vitamin D ensures that calcium and phosphorus from food is well absorbed into the body. Also, vitamin D plays an important role in cell growth and cell development, such as in the maintenance of the resistance and a proper functioning of the muscles. Vitamin D comes in two forms: vitamin D3 and vitamin D2.
