Nibbly Procrastination and Boredom Snacking - How Forty Thousand Years of Evolution Have Ended Badly
We would have little or no water or food forty thousand years ago in the African noon day sun. We would have had to eat into our body fat stores and for most months of the year these wouldn't have been very large. A body which can survive on very little fuel for many hours and still chase down large game would have had a survival advantage and these traits have been passed down to us from our ancestors. We have the same bodies.
