Strength Training for Building Bone Density

As we age, we lose bone density. This is the reason for so many fractures and broken bones among the elderly. Poor bone density is often associated with a high probability of fractures. That can lead to high medical costs, and affect your ability to live independently later on in life. It could even be the cause of an early death. However, that doesn't mean you have to accept bone density loss as an unavoidable part of getting older. There are some steps you can take to avoid it and keep your bones strong. The easiest way to build your bone density is to do some strength training.
